This rendition of the 1920s recording by Naftule Brandwein was performed by Jeff Jeziorski with Maxwell Street Klezmer Band. The title ("Escorting the In-Laws Home"), suggests that the wedding festivities have concluded with the klezmer musicians accompanying the parents of the bride back to their home with a slow dance melody like this. The 3/4 rhythm is called a "zhok" in Yiddish, or a Romanian Horra.
