Turns out there is a way. PlayStation Plus has a subscription service that lets you stream games to your PC. It supports Xbox controllers

Unfortunately you can't play the DLC with this version (I've tried).
This is from my first playthrough in November. I got to play the DLC on a friend's playstation, so I've experienced it once at least. This is definitely my favorite soulsborne game. Might even be my favorite game in general tbh. Maybe we’ll get the PC port on the ten year anniversary
