13 OCTOBER 2017 -- All three were printed by AGMuller / AGM / AGM-Urania. The two vintage 1970s editions here were printed by AG Muller in Switzerland. The "Tarot of A.E. Waite" by AGM-Urania is printed in Germany. Please note that since the Rider & Co 1971 edition ('blue box') that I have here is in a worn condition, and I do not have one that is in a pristine condition. So, I can not be sure if the more naked feel of its card-stock is due to a lack of lamination, the nature of its lamination, or simply because its lamination has been worn out throughout time. I am using the "Tarocco Rider Waite" here as a proxy for the "vintage yellow box pre-copyright" (US Games vintage 1970s), because I believe they have both been produced and printed by AGMuller (now AGM-Urania). My current working theory is that all three of these are different to each other in their distribution, branding, and packaging only.
---- DISCLAIMER ----
I do not have US Games Systems' "vintage yellow box". I do not have an original Pam-A. So any mental comparisons on my part has so far been based on images of the original which I have seen on wopc.co.uk and waitesmith.org
