In a statement delivered at the 43rd session of the Human Rights Council, ISHR's director Phil Lynch called for the Council to support investigations and accountability for widespread human rights violations - including systematic and targeted attacks and reprisals against human rights defenders - in China, Egypt, India, Saudi Arabia and Venezuela.
