On the 2nd of July DASH Arts coordinated a national takeover of museums and galleries by disabled artists. Sam Metz was hosted by Leeds Art Gallery where they staged a participatory work. The work commented on the inhospitality of museums for disabled workers, using the language of making and the assembly of temporary structures that responded to the architecture of the central court. The objects assembled by the audience reiterated the theme of 'failure, interruption, aberration'. Sam is interested in ideas of interdependence and care within their practice, by making and moving together the audience activate the work and themes.
