Baylor Football has a new transfer quarterback from Mississippi State named Sawyer Robertson who has the potential to be a starter for the team. Robertson, who transferred to Baylor in the fall of 2022, has already impressed coaches and teammates with his strong arm and leadership skills.
During his time at Mississippi State, Robertson played in 14 games and threw for 1,719 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also showed his ability to lead his team to victory, as he led the Bulldogs to a comeback win over Auburn in 2020.
Robertson's transfer to Baylor is a major coup for the Bears, as they are in need of a quarterback to replace the graduated Charlie Brewer. With his strong arm and leadership skills, Robertson has the potential to be the starter for Baylor's 2022 season and lead the team to a successful season.
The Bears coaching staff is impressed with Robertson's work ethic and dedication, and they believe he has the potential to be a great quarterback for the team. Robertson has already started to build chemistry with the receivers, and he has been working hard to learn the team's offense.
