Footage shot initially at Cork Kent station of the RPSI's Web Summit Charter train arriving from Dublin Connolly and continuing onwards to Midleton. The train was formed of the RPSI's Cravens coaches and hauled by GM 201 class no 233 "River Clare" which stood in at the last minute for failed GM 111 class no. 8113.
Cork pilot loco 217 was sent to Midleton to shunt release the coaches as far as Cork with 233 regaining duties from there. The return journey from Midleton to Connolly was made accessible to the public and named "The Blue Train" railtour which I joined at Cork.
