Talking Trees perform the "Aunt Bethany Says Grace" performed by Mae Questel and Chevy Chase from the National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation movie.
We are located in Cedar Park, Texas and we have been doing an animated, synchronized light display since 2010. Our display contains 25,000 individually programmed WS2811 bullet pixels that we buy direct from the factory in China. The pixels are programmed using community supported xLights.org software and are controlled using Falcon F16 pixel controllers. The show is run off of a Raspberry Pi FPP show computer the size of a deck of cards. Music is pumped through a very low-powered FM transmitter so guest can listen to the show from the comfort of their cars.
As of 2022 our show contained 25,000 pixels, 105 snowflakes, 13 white wire trees, 9 reindeer, and 1 Christmas cactus with over 780 pixels. The entire show run on less than 15 amps of electricity.
The Singing Trees are programmed using machine learning that align the phoneme vocal movements to the music track.
Sequencing done by John Storms and is available for free at ListenToOurLights.com
