This is some video of me recording the drums for Edge of Paradise song "In A Dream" which was released on the 'Perfect Shade of Black' and 'Immortal Waltz' CDs. Sorry about the video quality but most studios don't believe in lighting (Ugh!). Song was produced by Michael Wagener. I wish it could be redone as the mix is not that great (I believe because there was not enough input from everyone to make sure all the intricacies were dealt with). This song has been mentioned as one of the best on the CD's by most reviewers. Yes, I did have something to do with the arrangement and minor punctuation throughout. I also meticulously wrote my drum parts to help move the song forward, build it up and take it down. Especially the bridge with the marching snare part. Unfortunately the phaser effect, a nice idea, was not executed well in my opinion. In summary, it is a great song with finesse and power. This was recorded at "The Office Studios" in Van Nuys, CA.
