🌷 Half Updo that won't cause Traction Alopecia 🌷
Once in a while it's okay to wear your hair in tight hairstyles. But note that wearing these hairstyles excessively can cause massive issues in the long run. Please don't ignore this! It's serious business.
When the hair is pulled too tightly in the same direction repeatedly, this could loosen the hair in the follicle and lead to hair loss. If steps are not taken in a timely manner, the hair loss caused by traction alopecia could be irreversible and permanent.
Are your regular hairstyles causing hair thinning near your hair line?
If so, this hairstyle may be helpful.
You'll notice that in most of my hairstyles, I leave the front section out or at the very least, I avoid pulling them back. Now you know why I do this! As someone who's dealt with traction alopecia, I am extremely gentle and delicate with my hair. I refuse to take pointless risks with hairstyles. ❌
I've used a banana clip by @hairlove_india here.
The exact product name is "stretchable banana clip".
Discount Code: MICHELLE gives you 10% off your purchase.
The banana clip is wide and stretchable. This will allow you to loosely and gently bring your hair together without causing excessive tension. There's lots of 'give' in the hairstyle. The hair is not stretched out. It is gently gathered together allowing for less stress. The hair in the banana clip has lots of space between it. It kept very loose. No tension points are being created in this hairstyle.
Save this short & come back to it later.
This hairstyle may be one that you want to keep in your arsenal.
