A man is dead after being shot by Phoenix police officers near 32nd and Washington streets Saturday afternoon. Police say the incident happened when officers were investigating a burglary call at a storage facility. When officers arrived, they found a man and a woman. The woman provided identification, but officers had difficulties identifying the man. Officers ultimately decided to detain the man. Police say officers were taking the man into custody when a struggle began. Officials say the man attempted to reach for one of the officer's taser multiple times. That is when the officer-involved shooting occurred.
