The Kashubian language is an ethnic-minority language in Poland spoken mainly in the region of Pomerania. In this episode of Slavic Languages Comparison show, we’re going to see if Polish and Czech language speakers will understand a Kashubian language speaker. We’re going to play a guess-a-city game. Mateusz will be describing different cities to us in Kashubian and we’ll have to guess which one he’s talking about.
Polish, Czech, and Kashubian belong to the Slavic language family.
Have you ever wondered whether Kashubian, Polish and Czech languages are similar enough to understand each other?
