This webinar is the first of three panel discussions Electric Autonomy Canada is hosting with leaders from the fuels industry, the automotive sector, and research groups to explore the potential to develop Canada’s use of alternative fuels.
Even if we achieve the Canadian federal government’s zero-emission vehicle sales targets by 2035, 65 per cent of vehicles on the road at that point will still have combustion engines. We need to ensure these vehicles — especially in the medium- and heavy-duty long-haul sector — will be running on the cleanest fuels possible.
IN THIS EPISODE
It's possible for fleets operators to change the fuel types they are using today. What are the hydrogen, biofuel and compressed natural gas vehicles available in Canada right now? Who is making the alternative fuels, how clean is the supply chain and where is the alternative fuel sector going? How is the Clean Fuel Standard going to drive this movement forward?
