It’s Wednesday 22 October 1969. A clean shaven “Paul McCartney” is photographed at Glasgow Airport, Scotland with his wife and young child.
Two days later, on 24 October, a film crew from American ABC news secretly film a bearded Paul at his High Park farm in Scotland.
On the same day, Paul McCartney was interviewed by BBC journalist Chris Drake, on his farm in Scotland. The goal of the interview was to respond to the growing “Paul is Dead” rumours.
November 7th 1969 Life Magazine published an article on the recent "Paul Is Dead" fiasco.
