Use of abortive pills at 40 days of pregnancy, usually or doesn’t hamper any future pregnancies. But that doesn’t mean that you can keep on using abortive pills as means of contraception because nowadays we see patients with series of one or two or three abortions that they undergo with tablets. Now this is ethically completely wrong. So should not be used as a contraceptive. There are other contraceptives which are healthy and can be used with very minimal side effects, which can be used to avoid pregnancy and going about doing medical terminations and using abortive pills as and when required. They are number one, ethically wrong, number two they may be having many implications to the body in the long run, but usually the chances of conception has nothing to do with that , taking an abortive pill at 40 days of pregnancy.
