4 Reasons Fish Tank WATER Goes CLOUDY And How To CLEAR IT
In this video we take a look at why cloudy water appears in a fish tank and how to fix this issue. There are four main reasons why a fish tank will get cloudy and they are all easy to solve.
1: The aquarium has gone cloudy because it is a new aquarium. New fish tanks go cloudy because they are cycling and get a bacteria bloom. This is completely normal in an aquarium and the best solution is to wait however there are things you can add to speed up this process

2: Inadequate filtration can cause the aquarium to go cloudy because either it is not big enough for the fish tank or you have to many fish in the aquarium. Getting a bigger filter or aquarium can fix this problem.
3: Ammonia spikes can be devastating to an aquarium and also unexpected as well. This form of cloudiness is caused by excess ammonia which is deadly to fish. Doing a large water change, removing any dead fish or uneaten food and adding an ammonia remover is the best way to solve this.

4: Cloudiness can also be caused by debris in the aquarium from simply lack of maintenance, low flow and also lack of filtration. Adding more filtration, more regular cleaning and also more flow can help with this.
