Indian Civilization is the only surviving and thriving ancient civilization inspite of over a thousand year rule of invaders and colonisers. The Forces Shackling Hinduism have subverged Hindu identity for a long time. Hindus need to revive their ancient knowledge systems to bring back the spiritual energy and stand firmly against Western Narratives and Breaking India forces trying to divide Hindus in the name of Caste. Richa Gautam points out the shackles around the hindu identity and also the need to break free from these creating our own narrative, our own terminology and hence claiming the rightful position in the world.
About the Speaker:
Richa Gautam is founder of Castefiles.com and is associated with Castegate.org and castecon.com. She is executive director at caresglobal.Org and involved in advocacy for human rights, civil rights and minority rights especially focused on rehabilitation of persecuted refugees and education & empowerment.
She is working on ethnographic research as Senior Research Associate at Indus University and is a Fellow of the Center of Indic Studies at Ahmedabad.
She believes in and is involved in collaborative advocacy efforts teaming across various organizations. Her research is focused on emic and indigenous ethnographic studies and documenting lived experiences of Indian communities using it for decoding current caste narratives.
Richa Gautam has written columns and published articles under her byline for various newspapers internationally and is a speaker and presenter in media and social media.
She actively works in the field of diversity, inclusiveness, and minority and women rights as well as decolonial practices
