Hitting the amazing and varied landscape of the Icelandic South Coast.
------------------------------------
After exploring Stokksnes, one of my favourite locations in Iceland, we headed south to Mulagljufur Canyon to meet up with Niklas and Fanny and hike to one of the most dramatic and massive canyons in Iceland.
The following day we ticked something off our bucket list: Kayaking in Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, and getting up close and personal with the huge icebergs that are calving off the massive Vatnajokull Ice Cap.
We then begin making our way south towards the airport, and our journey home, stopping in at Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach at Vik, before continuing on to Reykjanes and deciding to visit the volcanic eruption one last time.
After spending an evening watching one of the most inspiring, jaw-dropping and magnificent sights I’ve ever witnessed, we turned our back on the volcano and went to spend our last night reflecting over what an incredible experience the trip was.

This trip will likely go down as the best I ever do. So many experiences, moments and memories helped to make this much more than the bucket list trip it was supposed to be. After a year of lockdown, reduced travel and many postponed/cancelled plans, we decided to just go to Iceland and give ourselves an experience to remember.
