Rainbow, featuring guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, scored their first and only Top 40 hit in 1982 with "Stone Cold". The song, featuring the lead vocals of Joe Lynn Turner, went to #39 on the Cash Box Top 100, #40 on the Billboard Hot 100, #34 on the UK Singles chart, and #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart. Rainbow had two other Hot 100 entries; 1983's "Street Of Dreams" (again with Turner on vocals) which went to #60, and the 1979 Russ Ballard-penned "Since You Been Gone" (with Graham Bonnet on lead vocals) which made it to #57. This is the US single 45 release, which runs 2:18 shorter than the original album version.
