A wastewater treatment plant is being built in Kalmar that will provide high-quality wastewater treatment with an innovative solution.
Due to the substances contained in the wastewater, concrete surfaces in sewage treatment plants must be planned and executed with extreme care to ensure a long service life for the concrete structure. By being involved in the process at an early stage, MAX FRANK was able to develop special solutions that both simplify the construction process and ensure a high-quality finish to the concrete structures.
In addition to the waterproofing with the coated metal water stop Fradiflex® Premium, the controlled water drainage CPF liner Zemdrain® was used to ensure a void-free and highly resistant concrete surface.
A particular challenge was posed by the Stremaform® formwork elements with integrated Fradiflex® Premium metal water stop. They were used to form the concave cut concrete sections. In addition to the special shape, the position and connections of the construction joint seal had to be planned.
In addition, the special transport solutions had to be broken down into individual components and site handling planned. Thanks to the pre-planning it was possible to minimise the adjustments on site and thus reduce the construction time.

MAX FRANK as a company:
________________________________________
We have been developing, producing and distributing a wide range of proven products for concrete and reinforced concrete construction for over half a century. We accompany our customers reliably through every building phase with a technically sophisticated and intensive intermeshing of industrial production, high-quality products and multifaceted services.
That is why we develop individual project solutions in an open dialogue with our partners. We are using innovations in structural physics geared toward longer life cycles and sustainability and we are striving to offer more efficient processes. We are assisted in this by our ability to listen attentively and ask the right questions, because good questions open up those involved in the construction to productive thinking processes and discussions beyond isolated views and prejudice. Questions that penetrate to the core of the task and help to gain new insights and stake off more and more common terrain.
We at MAX FRANK call that: BUILDING COMMON GROUND
