The most common guinea pig care mistakes that owners make and how you can avoid making them! From keeping single piggies, to pet shops, cages, diet and the vets… Become a better piggie owner by being aware of these common mistakes and how to fix them:
1. Only getting a single guinea pig.
2. Having a cage that’s just too small or unsuitable.
3. Getting guinea pigs from a pet shop without considering the other options.
4. Not getting your guinea pig’s diet priorities right.
5. Buying unsuitable or dangerous products.
6. Breeding pet guinea pigs.
7. Not taking a guinea pig to the vet when something is wrong.
8. Not spending enough time taming and interacting with your guinea pigs.
