This lecture was produced by Leigh Orf for research collaborator David Bodine's freshman Python programming class at the University of Oklahoma. It is a "whirlwind tour" of how Leigh Orf uses CM1in his research, including some "behind the scenes" views of how he uses the CM1 model on supercomputers, as well as how he uses visualization software to create high-fidelity visualizations of thunderstorms.
