Lecture: Can we cure ageing?

Dame Linda Partridge works on the biology of ageing, and her research aims to understand how a healthy lifespan can be extended. In particular, her work focuses on the role of nutrients and diet, and her primary interest is in geroprotective drugs. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society, a founding director of the Max Planck Institute for the Biology of Ageing, and has received numerous awards for her work including being appointed as a Dame (DBE) in 2009.
