It's a battle of the most legendary restaurants of arguably one of the most famous dishes in the world. We taste them all and crown what we believe is the best Butter Chicken in Delhi and probably the World.
We also decided to take on the case between Daryaganj and Moti Mahal which revolves around a legal battle over the rightful ownership and use of the term "Butter Chicken." Moti Mahal, an iconic restaurant established in Delhi in 1947, claims to have invented the famous dish. Daryaganj, a newer establishment, asserts that their founders were the original creators and have the right to the legacy. The dispute has escalated into a court case, with both parties presenting historical evidence and testimonials to validate their claims. The outcome will determine not only who gets the official recognition but also who can market their culinary heritage as the true originator of Butter Chicken.
