"Man on the Moon" by R.E.M. off of their "Automatic for the People" album which came out in 1992 and featured Mike Mills on bass. The album was recorded, in part, at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, NY which isn't too far from where I live. Rush actually recorded their "Test for Echo" album there.
I actually sold this bass not too long ago. I got it for a great price and managed to only lose a couple of hundred dollars on it. I loved the bass, I just wasn't in love with it. I did a "review" on it just after I got the bass and I'll link the unlisted video here - [ Ссылка ]
After watching a bit of the video before uploading it, I think I knew at the time that I wasn't going to be holding on to the bass. My take on it was that, while it was an incredibly well made instrument, I'd just be using it as a fancy Jazz bass and I had other, much less expensive, basses that could do that job just fine. I think these basses are built for their versatility and that is one thing I don't really look for in a bass. If I can get one great sound out of a bass, I'm happy. I still keep in touch with Roberto and I did wind up doing a couple of demo video of some other basses that he was selling that can be found in my "Unlisted" playlist.
