Delving into the psyche of a narcissist, one might wonder what haunts them? How does a narcissist manage to get over their haunting past or fears? These are intriguing questions indeed, and to explore them, we must first recognize that narcissists, like all of us, are human beings. As humans, we're all prone to reflecting on past experiences, considering how we might have acted or spoken differently. Regret is a universal feeling, and one of the most significant life lessons we learn is how to live without being consumed by these regrets.

We understand that every choice we make is ours, and even if it doesn't lead to the desired outcome, we take solace in knowing that we gave it our best. This is a process of getting over our past choices and moving forward, and this process varies from person to person. Some can quickly shrug off disappointments and move on, while others might take longer to heal from their experiences.

Their lives are often dominated by feelings of envy, and they have a tendency to inflict punishment on others. A noticeable trait in narcissists is their difficulty being alone. They dread the darkness and negativity that can accompany solitude.

While a narcissist can exist in solitude, they typically derive their energy or 'supply' from external sources. Whether it's from a person, an activity, or a thought, they manage to find a source of supply even when they're physically alone. This supply is akin to a lifeline for them.
