I'm sure not many of you have even heard about Kurdistan, but in this video we'll present what is the history of the kurdish people and why they don't have a state.
Spanning over teritory of 4 different countries: Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran, Kurdistan is home to almost 40 million people.

Why is Kurdistan a Stateless nation !?
With around 40 million people, Kurdistan is the largest ethnic group without a country. It spans over territory of 4 different countries: Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
If only one of these 4 countries would allow an independent Kurdistan, this could spark independence movements in the other 3, so all these countries are aligned in not allowing Kurdistan to become independent.
This situation has its origins at the beginning of the 20th century. After the Ottoman empire fell, there was a plan for a Kurdistan state, but Turkey was completely against it and promised it would go to war against it if it would ever exist. As at that time everyone was hoping for peace in the region, all the great powers sided with Turkey.
