In this video on Frog, Parts of Brain and their functions are discussed.

Nervous System :
- It consist of : 1. CNS (Central nervous system) : Brain + Spinal cord.
2. PNS (Peripheral nervous system) : Cranial nerves + Spinal nerves.
3. ANS (Autonomic nervous system) : Sympathetic and
parasympathetic nervous system.
Brain
- It is covered by cranium.
- It is divisible into :
A. Forebrain - Cerebral hemispheres (paired) + Olfactory lobes + Diencephalon
(unpaired). Corpus callosum is absent.
B. Midbrain - Optic lobes (unpaired).
C. Hindbrain - Medulla oblongata + Cerebellum.
- 4 ventricles are found in brain of frog = 3 in forebrain, 0 in midbrain & 1 in hindbrain.
- Spinal cord
- Medulla comes out of the cranium through foramen magnum and continues as spinal
cord.
- Spinal cord is covered by vertebral column (made up of 10 vertebra).
