Continuing with my poorly shot, horribly narrated and terribly edited video series, I present yet another random proof of life video so I can shovel finished projects out of here and move on to others... :)
Random proof of life video of Kato N scale loco installs for Feb 7 2023.
2 x GS4's- units re-drivered with revised drivers, ESU 58731 with 11x17 speaker fitted in tender. Front light board stripped, mars light seperated out and wired for independant control. mechanism lubricated, programmed to ESU S0737, test
2 x Kato RDC's- units dismantled, motor cups repaired, ESU nano installed. Factory light boards modified with new warm white LED's. function outputs control marker lights, head/rear lights. Kato interior light kit installed and tapped into decoder output. programmed to ESU V5 file S0584 RDC detroit diesel sound file, lubricated, test.
1 x SD40, 2 x SD40-2 early. These three units from an install standpoint are the same. ESU 58741 was modified with 3mm warm white led's motor clips transferred over, 15x8 speaker with 3d printed housing installed. Cleaned, lubricated and programmed to S0508. The two CNW units had the bell changed to a gong style.
2 x Kato ALC-42 'Charger' locomotive- units dismantled and 15x8 speaker with 3d printed housing installed. ESU 58741 board installed after adding additional forward LED, adding engine compartment light. Programmed to ESU S0837 sound file. Test. MANY MORE of these coming....
