Unbound Gravel 2023 was harder than the previous year. We started hot out of the gates, but were later stopped by the mud, and I mean MUD. Hiking your bike for 4 miles (or whatever it was) really fatigued your mind and body. Anyone who got out of that had a heart. After the mud, you were drained to keep your energy. However, soon after the 2022 nightmarish section was passed, a storm with wind and rain came. Unbound never lets you get out easy. The last 20 miles were riding through the rain. And I enjoyed all that. Good way to end the race. Unlike last year, I got to celebrate with family, which was nice. Vlog
