Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Rene Leibowitz
Rene Leibowitz wrote a new orchestral version after extensive research of all the available Moussorgsky and Rimsky-Korsakov material. Others who have orchestrated Mussorgsky's Night on the Bare Mountain are Leopold Stokowski, Charles Gerhardt, Henry Sopkin, Vissarion Shebalin and Gottfried von Einem.
