This is the 7th generation of an iconic car. Since 1974, the Golf has been the class leader in the C segment, a benchmark in terms of precision and quality for any car manufacturers that compete in this segment.
Now, the original Golf designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro is 40 years old. In 2012, Volkswagen launched the latest Golf, the Mk7 (or Golf VII). This car is something like 100 kilos lighter than the predecessor, thanks to the all-new VW-Group modular MQB platform. It’s more secure, too: the Golf can be equipped with technology like Lane Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control and Blind Spot Sensor.

This particular Golf is the Highline 1.4 TSI Turbo engine, with 140 hp and the cylinder-deactivator system, that combined to the DSG dual clutch transmission, allows great fuel economy: just 4.7 litres for 100 kilometers (about 50 mpg)!
