(31 Oct 2015) Supporters of Austria's right-wing Freedom Party (FPO) were confronted by human rights activists on Saturday.
The FPO supporters were marching against the Austrian government's policy of allowing thousands of migrants and refugees to enter the country.
Pro-refugee activists held a counter-demonstration, saying they had called on their supporters to donate 10 euros (11 US dollars) for every minute of the right-wing demonstrators' march.
Eva Rusegger, one of the organisers of the counter-demonstration, said they had collected over 2,000 euros (2,201 US dollars) in less than an hour to be used to assist migrants and refugees.
Members of the two opposing camps had to be separated by police at one point as they shouted at each other, but the protests were generally peaceful.
