This video follows on from my previous video showing how I feed my cavies on a daily basis, which you can see here [ Ссылка ] and this regime is good enough for breeding cavies and keeping them fit and healthy.

However, when it comes to showing we need the guinea pigs to be in the best physical condition possible, so we need to feed them accordingly using different food and carefully increasing their diet over a period of time leading up to show day, then once the show is over we slowly bring their food back to normal, and this video shows you how i get my cavies to be fitter not fatter!.

of course this is just one aspect of showing a cavy there are many other things to consider such as husbandry, preparation and actually breeding a decent example to show.
