The whole script is below:

I got feedback, saying that the grip scissor they purchased was not sharp enough. It was a surprise because I purchased them from a long-established Japanese scissor manufactures. Well, no one is perfect. It could be a lemon.
So, I accepted the return and checked it. Nothing was wrong with it, and I could cut the thread as smooth as cutting the strawberry with a knife.
Then I realize, what if they didn’t know how to use the grip scissors. It is another topic that I didn’t realize in need of explanation since it is so ordinary for me. So here are the tips in using the grip scissors.
[The first tip]
The grip scissors are designed to cut the thread at the tip. Use the scissors as if the blades are your nails. You could cut the thread with the main blade, but it is not what the manufacturer intended to do. Again, the scissors are designed to clip the thread at the top, not the body. I hope you can feel the scissors as the part of your hands.
[The second tip]
No need to open the blades.
Unlike the regular craft scissors, the grip scissors do not require opening the blade. You just need to grip the scissors and clip the thread instead of sliding the 2 blades by opening and closing it.
In our tradition, we clean both sides of the fabric as the finished side after Sashiko stitching. It requires a lot of thread clipping, and therefore the grip scissors are very important.
I hope this explanation helps.
