Dry boxes don't have to be costly, or pretty for that matter. They just need to work, keep your herbs clean, provide plenty of ventilation, and stay at the right temperature and humidity levels. You can use anything from a computer case, to food dehydrators, to plastic totes, or even build your own from wood.
When foraging plants for food and medicine you sometimes need to dry them before use, however keeping dust and pet hair off of your plants or herbs is a big challenge. With a controlled environment to dry your herbs in you can ensure the quality and cleanliness of what you are gathering.
In this video I go over the three types of dry boxes I have used over the years. I cover the good things and the bad things about each one and give some information on using them or setting one up. Note these dry boxes are not fancy, they are not expensive but they work.
I thank you guys for watching this video and I hope it inspires you to kind of think outside the box, so to speak.
