Now seems the perfect time to get our beekeeping equipment ready for next year. With some purchases from a sale the other day we have plenty of brood boxes ready to go, but are short on supers. Supers are essential if we intend to harvest any honey.

This last week I have made up a new router table as well, so I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to put it through it's paces. A national hive has a few bits that make it quite tricky to build at home, with rebates, housings and the strengthening/lifting bars. But it's a fun project.
