The Shell advance ultra 10W-40 is probably one of those engine oil which I extensively used in motorcycles like TVS Apache, Yamaha FZ, Honda Unicorn, Honda Livo, Honda Shine, CBR 250R, Hero Karizma etc. In this video we review the Shell advance ultra after doing a lab test on it. The lab test was done after doing 2500+km with Shell Advance Ultra 10W-40 in an air cooled engine. The lab test revealed a lot on the performance of the Shell advance ultra along with physical and chemical properties. I have discussed the change in Viscosity after doing 2500km of running along with TBN of Shell advance Ultra. Shell didn't share the TBN of Shell advance Ultra so I did a lab test on both fresh engine oil sample along with the used engine oil sample that revealed the TBN for Shell advance Ultra. Apart from all this lab test confirmed the wear metal, contaminants and additives elements found in the Shell advance ultra engine oil.
