Prison visits vary by institution type, state, region, and even facility. Since the covid-19 pandemic arrived, many facilities have new rules. Natosha offers general advice that is common among various institutions during non-pandemic times.

Natosha Veals’ husband, Jabari Akil Veals, has been in prison since 2007 on drug charges. While inside, Jabari became a paralegal and earned a certification in HVAC repair. Natosha has one more year of nursing school before she graduates. Both eagerly await his release.
