Last week, I took the first step on my journey of revisiting the Mega Man Classic series by redoing my Buster Only playthrough of Mega Man 3. Today, that journey continues with Mega Man 4 Buster Only!

This video contains my full buster only playthrough of Mega Man 4 on the NES played via the Mega Man Legacy Collection.

Much like Mega Man 3, this game cannot completed entirely with the Mega Buster. A few situations occur that require the use of Rush or special weapons to progress. They are as follows:

1. Both the Cossack and Wily Castle stages require Rush Coil and Rush Jet to progress. You can use the Wire and Balloon gadgets are substitutes, but the end result is the same.

2. The Pharaoh Shot is required to defeat the final boss fight against Wily Capsule. He is immune to every other weapon.
