INGREDIENTS
For BATTER
3-4 cups fine grated cassava /balinghoy /kamoteng kahoy /tapioca
3 cups coconut milk
1 ½ cup white sugar
½ cup condensed milk
1 cup evaporated milk
1 - 2 pc egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
6 tbsp melted butter (optional)
For TOPPING
1 cup coconut milk
½ cup condensed milk
½ cup evaporated milk
1 pc egg
grated cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a bowl, make the batter by combining the grated cassava (fine grated), butter, coconut milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract. Mix ingredients thoroughly.
Meanwhile prepare the topping by combining coconut milk, condensed milk, evaporated milk, egg, for mixture, and grated cheese (as final topping).
Grease the baking tray then pour in the batter (these re the ingredients that you just mixed together).
(But for my own version, i used baking pan covered with aluminum foil or you can use banana leaf cover too)
Pre- heat iron cast skillet then put in the baking pan with batter and bake for 1 hour or until it is cooked.
Before the batter is totally baked, pour the topping mixture and garnish grated cheese on top of the baked batter.
When the baked batter already turned light brown, remove from the heat and set side.
You may garnish more or add extra grated cheese on top. Serve. Share. And Enjoy!...
