Info:
This intro is hard. I tried to play it a couple of times and never really got it down packed, eventually giving up in frustration. I had another go at it recently and thought I played it cleanly enough to upload. Still isnt as clean as Buzz plays it, but that guy is a demi-god, so I'm sorta ok with that.
Techniques/Tips:
- Well, your going to want to be very comfortable with sweeping before even starting this.
- Play with a metronome and build up speed slowly.
- In the first sweep, the position of the first finger moves from the 10th to the 9th fret.
- The hardest part for me was the hammer on using your left hand on the B string (12th fret for first sweep and 8th for second) after the right handed tap. Im so used to completing the sweep, but that very last note is just hammered on. Was really hard to get used to and still didnt do it that cleanly in video.
- Purple sock is to clean up sound.
