From exciting weekends playing softball to leadership within the house system, Samantha Kang's time at Highlands Latin School has taught her how to lead and build the confidence of everyone around her. She plans on serving our country by attending the United States Naval Academy and majoring in ocean engineering.

"HLS has really prepared us to spread our wings and fly away," said Samantha. "Giving back to a country that has given so much opportunity to (my family) is something I'm excited to do, despite all the challenges that lie ahead of me."
