Hi friends welcome to our channel Today we see new recipe
Take a bowl
Add 2 cups milk
2 cups water
1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup coconut(roasted)
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
1 cup vermicelli (roasted)
1/2 tsp wasted saggubiyyam
Instructions:
Heat ghee in a deep pan or thali over medium heat. Add the chopped nuts and raisins (if using) and sauté until they turn golden brown. Remove and keep them aside for garnishing.
In the same pan, add the roasted vermicelli and sauté for a couple of minutes until it turns slightly golden brown.
Pour the milk into the pan with vermicelli and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
Add sugar and cardamom powder to the milk and vermicelli mixture. Stir well to dissolve the sugar. Continue to simmer for another 5-7 minutes until the kheer thickens to a desired consistency.
If using saffron strands, soak them in a tablespoon of warm milk for a few minutes. Add the saffron-infused milk to the kheer and stir well.
Remove the pan from heat and let the Semiya Payesh cool down for a bit.
Serve the Semiya Payesh in bowls or dessert cups. Garnish with the sautéed nuts and raisins.
You can serve it warm or chilled, as per your preference.
