LORANGER (July 2, 2024) - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs your help finding three stolen puppies as well as identifying and locating the two suspects accused of taking them from a home in the Loranger area.
In the evening hours of Saturday, June 22, deputies responded to a home in the 17000 block of Highway 40 for a report of a theft in progress. Upon arrival, the homeowner reported that two white women had just pulled into his driveway in an unknown white vehicle, got out and took three German Shepherd puppies off of their leashes from his back porch.
The theft was caught on home surveillance video.
Sheriff Gerald Sticker encourages anyone with information about this theft, those responsible, or the whereabouts of the puppies, to contact Sgt. Jill Hutcheson in the Criminal Investigations Office at 985-748-3335.
