Tomato, onion, and potato (TOP) prices are crucial for policymakers, given its widespread role in households of varying economic strata. A research report by the RBI states that any increase in prices of Tomato, Onion, and Potato (TOP) contribute to overall vegetable inflation, influencing overall inflation in the country as well.
