Dr. Beim: “I've learned that (ovaries) are not just an egg factory. So it turns out the ovaries are really central command of a woman's health and her vitality.”
Dr. Shepherd: “ I think people think that they're like only one thing that they do, but they really do add vitality, they help with sex drive, always a fan of sex drive. And they really are helping restore who we are metabolically reproductively. And I really want women to understand just how impactful they are. Because I think that they have been shunned from research. I think that they have been shunned from what we think of them and how we find importance and value to them. And the more that we find a voice individually as women to collectively bring our pelvis and reproductive health to the forefront, then we're going to get somewhere with innovative technology medications, really just a way to beautify the ovary than is being vilified.”
