How to soothe a cough with this Chinese orange monk fruit herbal tea!
Still coughing?
Yah, it's been a week. LOL. I keep running outdoors when it's cold. So my bad!
Try this easy to make and healing Chinese herbal tea to soothe that pesky cough.
The key ingredients are the monk fruit and dried tangerine peel, and when combined with orange slices and apricot kernals, creates a delicious, soothing and healing tea.
Ingredients:
• 1 small mandarin (or 5 slices of orange)
• 1-2 small pieces of golden monk fruit
• 10 pieces dried apricot kernals
• 1 small tangerine peel
• 1 cinnamon stick
• 2.5 cups of water
• Honey (optional)
Add everything together into your stove safe teapot (except the honey), break up the orange to release the juices and boil on medium heat for 5 minutes. Allow to cool and serve with honey as needed. Serve and enjoy!
