I'm trying to decide on a default "performance patch" for the 1402. This arrangement of oscillators, aux send chaotic feedback, and a mute channel feels like its going to work well as a flexible foundation. I wanted to get some noise channels in the mix, but this particular mixing board just keeps fighting against me to amplify system noise without taking three channels to pull it up. It's easy enough to swap a set of oscillators for a series of noise channels, so I think I will experiment with rotating back and forth between oscillators and noise channels on channels 1-4.
I like the play between the three aux send channels (2x, 2y, 1) when they are feeding back into each other. It creates three 'gravitational bodies' that pull the tides of feedback back and forth against each other in a dynamic, unpredictable way.
