The debate over homeopathic treatments and drugs is heating up.
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) held a public hearing on the issue this week.
Homeopathic remedies have remained largely unregulated, but some believe the time has come for greater regulatory oversight. The FDA said its hearing was designed to "obtain information and comments from stakeholders about the current use of human drug and biological products labeled as homeopathic, as well as the Agency's regulatory framework for such products."
